first of all, okaaay. so they take out the smoking, the suicide attempt, the bloody bullet to the head, the teeth pulling BUT what's this? they're pulling out all the stops on the blood!

this is kinda becoming a weekly thing, huh. dunno if i'll keep doing it... maybe i'll do, but it won't always be "on time" like now.

EDIT: i thought i'd just give it a short summary... then ended up on a capping spree =_=;

only means this episode was very enjoyable. i'm sure i'll be watching it again on a better raw, and of course when it gets subbed.

edit 2x: lol i added voice clip samples of Yamamoto's "berserker" voice XD just scroll up to where i talked about his voice transformation and look for the links there :P

lol you know, i could have almost said this episode was all about YamaGoku XD when in another instance Yamamoto was thrown to the wall by Ken in that underground cavernous place, then the scene immediately after had Goku all furious and desperately eager to help Yamamoto with his dynamites ("if only it wasn't so dark and i could see...") before Reborn stops him.


btw, i think i asked you before about where your icon came from... if it's official (anime) art? :P

DUDE. I AM SO GLAD I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT YAMAMOTO LOOKED BEAUTIFUL IN THIS. I mean -- wow. And I love his skin tone. XD

I also liked the tiny Yamamoto-playing-baseball flashbacks, but it made me sad once again that they didn't do the suicide attempt episode. :(

anyway, it's so odd that the censors seem to have been lifted with the gratuitous display of blood. so! hopefully........ i'm thinking of Roku's poking his eye out... we'll actually get to see it...? o.O" argh i don't know XD they did take out the dentist antics after all.

(not that i'm complaining lol, i just can't stand the edits/censors anymore. to be honest, one thing that did draw me to Reborn! was the *violence*, the banged up boys and the blood hahahaha. ok, so it was more than one thing lol.)

(i find it so odd in a very amused kind of way that they seem to tone down on the violence, but they're not letting up on the slashy SUBTEXT of all things. episode 8 had Tsuna topping Dino at the foot of the stairs and it wasn't in the manga at all.)

Additions to the opening

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this, but the opening was changed a bit. There are some (well animated) scenes of Mukuro's main trio, followed by Tsuna and Mukuro facing off, then a still frame shot of the rest of Mukuro's gang, and the final shot of the cast has Tsuna with clothes and X gloves instead of in boxers
